Aoibhe, I was very shocked and saddened to hear the news of Derek's untimely passing. I offer my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Derek was a true gentleman with whom I was lucky to have the great pleasure of playing and record music with. His outstanding musical talent never failed to amaze me. He will be remembered by me for his kind nature and quick wit. We are all diminished with his passing.
