Derek you were the kindest of men, who radiated warmth and humanity outwards to everyone who had the absolute privilege to know you. Your talents were so extensive and yet you were always so humble. Your clever wit and informed insights always made it a pleasure to hang out. Your legacy lives on in the many lives you have touched in so many positive ways.
